Asian Paints Value Dry Stucco is a specially made paint based on cement and emulsion for filling and levelling surface defects on concrete & plaster. Moreover, it enhances the water resistance of the texture and provides an ideal surface for subsequent coating bonding. Additionally, Asian Paints Value Dry Stucco can be directly applied over the plaster.

The performance of Value Dry Stucco coating is directly linked to the extent of surface preparation.

• Make sure that the surface is clean and free from all impurities.
• The surface must be free from laitance before applying Value Dry Stucco.
• First, remove laitance by sweep blast and wire brush.

 

Application Details

Make sure adequate ventilation during application and drying.

• Before applying the dry Berger stucco paste, first wet the surface properly with water. Blend the Dry stucco mix with water by weight at a 40-50% ratio.
• Let the mixed dry stucco paste stay for 5 minutes; blend it thoroughly and then apply.
• Apply the first coat of Value Dry Stucco with a putty trowel or knife.
• Let the first coat of Value Dry Stucco dry for two to three hours, and after soaking the surface with water, apply the second coat.
• Apply the topcoat 2-3 hours following the application on the 2nd coat of Asian Paints Berger Dry stucco mix.
• First, wet the exterior surface of Dry Stucco after sanding and before using the first coat
• 2 coat consistency of this product should be limited to 2-3 mm.
• Use the entire mixed dry stucco paste within 2-3 hours of blending the paste.
• Do not use Dry Stucco mix when the humidity levels exceed 95% and condensation is probable.
• Surface temperature should be 3°C or more above the dew point.
• Stir the contents of Dry Stucco thoroughly before and during utilizing with a broad flat stirrer, using an upward-lifting motion.
